TATA STEEL RECRUITMENT 2022- JUNIOUR ENGINEER

 

Minimum Educational Qualification 

The minimum educational qualification for the said post is three years full time diploma in Electrical / Electronics /Mechatronics/ Instrumentation / Civil Engineering from any institute, recognized by AICTE. Diploma holders in above discipline from R D Tata Technical Education Centre, Jamshedpur and J N Tata Technical Education Centre Gopalpur are also eligible to apply. But candidates with Part Time / Correspondence / Distance Learning courses will not be eligible for the said post.

Mandatory Experience 

As per the notification, minimum three years of work experience is mandatory as on 1st April’2022 after acquiring the Diploma qualification.

Marks Required

Candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks aggregate in Diploma Examination and should have been born on or after, 1st April 1987 and before 1st April, 2004.

Emoluments

The notification stated that the selected candidates will be provisionally placed with a starting Basic Pay of Rs 23,495/- pm in the grade of NS 07 (Rs. 23495-710-37695 pm) and will be designated as Junior Engineer-I.

The other emoluments and benefits will be as per Company’s rules applicable to this grade. Candidates possessing 4 years or more of relevant experience will be compensated as per norms.

Selection procedure

Eligible candidates will have to appear for written test and interview process and each stage will be an elimination stage. 

Eligible employee wards, who are currently employed with Tata Group Companies / Subsidiaries/ Associate Company will need to furnish  NOC from the present employer before being considered for employment in Tata Steel. 

The NOC will have to be produced before the candidate is called for the interview.

All selected candidates will have to be declared medically fit as per Company’s medical fitness standards, before their appointment.

All selected candidates will undergo Background Verification as per Company’s standard, before their appointment.

No reimbursement related to travel will be made to the candidates in this process.

Candidates who are found ineligible as per the laid down criteria at any stage of selection process will be immediately disqualified from further selection process.

Canvassing in any form will automatically disqualify a candidate.
