How to fill NEET application form 2022 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG application form at nta.ac.in. A link to fill NEET 2022 application form is provided below on this page. As per the latest update, the NEET UG 2022 application form is out and candidates can register on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Eligible candidates must fill the NEET application form 2022 to appear for the medical entrance exam.

Candidates must be aware of NEET eligibility criteria prior to filling application form so that they do not face rejection of the application. The points are given below mention the eligibility criteria of the NEET examination.

• Nationality - Medical aspirants can be Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians, Overseas Citizens of India, Persons of Indian Origin, and Foreign Nationals to be eligible for NEET 2022

• Qualifying exam - It is mandatory for admission-seeking candidates to pass 10+2 or equivalent exam with Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as the core subjects from a recognized board of education. Candidates currently in class 12 or any other equivalent board are also eligible to apply by doing the NEET 2022 registration.

• Qualifying marks - Candidates have different qualifying marks category-wise. These marks have to be secured by them as aggregate in PCB. For candidates belonging to the Unreserved category (UR), it is mandatory to score 50%, candidates from SC/ST/OBC have to secure 40%. Those candidates who belong to the Persons with Disability (PwD) category have to secure 45%

• Minimum age - Aspiring candidates must complete 17 years of age as of December 31, 2022

• Maximum age - As per the health ministry, the NEET upper age limit has been removed

• Maximum attempts - Candidates can give as many attempts of the exam as they want

How to fill NEET 2022 application form - Step-wise procedure

In order to ensure that the candidate data is submitted quickly, the NEET UG 2022 application form process has been divided into two sets/phases.

• The first set of information needs to be filled up before the last date of submission.
• The second set of information needs to be filled up by the candidates before the declaration of the NEET result.

Candidates can refer to the points given below for an idea of the stepwise procedure of filling the application form of NEET 2022.

Step 1. Registration

• A link is provided above to fill the application form. Candidates have to click on it. The candidate login of NEET is given below in the image below.

• Aspirants will be redirected to the screen containing all instructions regarding the exam. It will include details like documents required, important dates pertaining to the exam, eligibility criteria, etc. The image below can be referred for the same.
• Candidates have to go through the instructions carefully, accept that they have done the same by selecting the area provided, and then click on ‘Proceed to apply online…’

• After completing the steps mentioned above candidates will be redirected to the ‘Registration page’ of NEET 2022. Replica of the same can be seen in the image below

• On this page candidates will be provided columns to fill in their name, mother’s name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, category, nationality, state, identity type, ID proof number, valid mobile number, and email ID. It is to be noted that the candidate’s details like name, date of birth, and gender, in the application form and government ID proof must match. Also, their mother’s and father’s name should match with class 10 certificate.

• Now candidates have to preview the information entered and click on ‘Next’

• In the screen that appears after completing the steps above, candidates have to fill in the below-mentioned details

• Create a password

• Add a security question

• Enter the OTP sent on their valid mobile number and email ID

• Click on the ‘submit button after filling in the details

• The screen that appears after completing the steps above will have a provisional registration number as shown in the image below. Candidates have to keep this number safe as this will be used along with the password created by them and serve as login credentials

• Candidates have to then click on ‘Click here to login’ if they wish to continue filling the form or close the window if they wish to pause after the registration part

Step 2. Filling NEET application form 2022

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to fill in the basic details in NEET 2022 application form

1. A link for filling the application form of NEET is provided above. Candidates have to click on it and ‘Login’ with their provisional registration number and password created by them. Aspirants can refer to the image given below.

2. In the screen that appears candidate's have to enter the following details

• Personal details

• Choice of language in which they wish their exam to be conducted (among 11 options choose one).

• Choose three exam cities of your preference on the basis of priority.

• After filling in the above details click on ‘Next’

3. In the next screen candidates have to enter their following details

• Residential details

• Correspondence address

• Parent’s qualification, occupation, income

• Declaration of dress code

4. In the next page enter your academic details of class 10, 11 and 12 or equivalent. At the bottom of this page candidates will be asked to fill their marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, Biology in class 12.

5. After filling the details candidates have to enter the "Security pin" and submit

6. Candidates will now be redirected to the review page to review details given by them. Here they have two options as mentioned-below

• Press ‘Back’ button if they wish to make changes in the information entered by them

• If there are no corrections or changes to be made they have to enter the OTP received on their registered mobile number and email ID, enter the security pin and click on ‘Final submit button’ to submit the details filled in NEET application form 2022

7. After completing the steps above candidates will be asked to confirm if they wish to submit the details. After they click on the ‘Yes! Please do’ button candidates will not be allowed to make any changes in NEET application form. Refer to the image given below 

8. It is to be noted that candidates can choose to not confirm and not click on the Final submit button if they wish to make any changes. They will be allowed to correct or change details entered by them until the last date of filing the application form of NEET.

Step 3. Uploading photograph and signature;

In this step medical aspirants have to upload their photograph and signature according to the specifications given in the table below.

Step 4. Make payment of NEET 2022 application fee;

1. In the next step, candidates have to make payment for the application form of NEET. Category wise application fee of NEET 2022 is given in the table above. There are certain points that are to be known to the candidates prior to making the NEET application fee payment

• The mode of fee payment is online. Candidates can make the payment of the application form through credit/debit card and net banking using SBI/HDFC/ICICI/Syndicate bank payment gateway.

2. After this candidates will be redirected to the payment interface page where they can make NEET application fee payment.

3. Candidates must keep the receipt of fee payment if done offline.

Step 5. Confirmation page;

After candidates have made application fee payments for the NEET application form 2022, the confirmation page screen will be displayed. When the screen displays this confirmation page it means that all the steps of the NEET 2022 application form have been completed successfully. The points given below have to be kept in mind regarding the confirmation page of the application form of NEET

• Candidates have to go through all the details mentioned on the confirmation page and verify the same

• The confirmation page will be sent to candidates on their registered mobile number and email ID

• It is advised that candidates take at least 3-4 printouts of the page for future reference

• In case candidate’s forget to take the printout of the confirmation page they can log in again using their provisional registration number and password and take the printout of the same

• It is to be noted that candidates will not be able to download the confirmation page of NEET application form 2022 after the last date of filling the same

How to fill NEET application form 2022 (Kashmiri Aspirants);

The candidates who belong to Kashmir valley and will find unable to fill the NEET application form 2022 in online mode have been provided with a facility to fill and submit it in offline mode. NTA will release a special NEET 2022 application form for such candidates. NEET aspirants from Kashmir valley were required to download and print a hard copy of the application form and submit the application form at the nodal office. The information bulletin which carried all the information regarding NEET 2022 was also available at the nodal centre. Candidates can check the steps of how to fill the application form of NEET 2022 listed below.

Step 1: Click on the official link provided above on this page.

Step 2: Download the PDF of the offline NEET application form for Kashmir Valley candidates only.

Step 3: On the hard copy of the NEET application form 2022, fill your personal details like name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, category, physical disability (if any), gender, address, state of eligibility, identity type, Identification number, email ID and mobile number. At the top, candidates must paste the latest photograph, put their signature, and put the left-hand thumb impression in the spaces provided.

Step 4: In the next step, candidates must fill their qualification details for Class 10 and Class 12. Candidates need to mention if they suffer from Diabetes, the medium of the question paper. Along with that, aspirants must provide four options of the NEET exam centre with the code. Once, all of these details have been filled, check the declaration box.

Step 5: Candidates are required to fill the self-declaration form in the next step to fill the NEET 2022 application form. The latest passport size picture, signature, and left-hand thumb impression have to be put in the spaces provided below on the page.

Step 6: Next, candidates are required to paste their postcard size photo on the space provided. 80% of the face has to visible on white background.

Step 9: Candidates who are filling the application form of NEET 2022 will have to pay the prescribed application fee in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of Director General, National Testing Agency, payable at NOIDA (UP).

Information regarding corrections to be made in the uploaded images will be sent to medical aspirants via mail. Refer to the steps below to make the required changes in NEET application form 2022.

1. Click on the ‘NEET Candidate Login’ link which will be provided above on this page

2. Enter your login credentials, i.e., provisional registration number and password (created at the time of registration)

3. Make the changes required as per specifications

4. Candidates will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number and email ID once the corrections are done

5. The screen will display a slip of correction, candidates must take a printout of the same for future use

NEET 2022 Common Service Centres (CSCs)

The government has set up CSCs for candidates (especially from rural areas) to be able to fill and submit the NEET application form 2022 despite lack of proper resources. Candidates should seek the help of these CSCs in case they face difficulty in making fee payments for NEET 2022 application form. They can also do the same in offline mode of e-wallet, etc.
